What if you had to make the things you use yourself every day?

A fascinating video series looks at how to turn raw materials into the everyday things we take for granted – from food to clothing, energy, medicine, and so much more.

One of the things we set out to do at Resource Works was talk about material things that are easy to take for granted. We are doing this through our research program that produces original economic analysis. Our Natural Runners represent a more lighthearted approach to the same goal. And of course we are looking to build a movement in support of our objectives, which you can sign up for here on the website.

This video series examines, in an entertaining way, all the things required to manufacture some everyday objects, including the source materials that go into making them. It's a reminder that natural-resource ingredients are required in everything we use and if we did not have them, life would be very different.

After watching a few of these, it's hard to look around the house or the street the same way again.
