May 26 is rally day for a strong Canada

Residents of several British Columbia communities will rally on Saturday, May 26 in defence of a strong Canada. Details here.

Without a supportive attitude to natural resource development, including the badly needed Kinder Morgan pipeline, Canada will fall down on its duty to provide for its citizens.

These Saturday, May 26 events are open to all:

  • Fort St. John: The ‘FSJ for LNG’ group is organizing a motorcade. It will meet along the frontage road near the UFA cardlock at 10:30 a.m. and drive down to the Alaska Highway to the Charlie Lake Boat Launch at 11 am. There, Steven Simonsof ResourcED will speak.
  • Smithers: Responsible Resource Development North West leads a convoy of cars and industrial vehicles on a 32-kilometre route through Smithers and Telkwa and returning to Smithers. Gather at 10:30 on Proctor Road, West Smithers, just off highway 16. The convoy will start moving at 11 am.
  • Fort Nelson: Line up at the water station at 11 am. Rally around town starts at 11:30 am. driving up the frontage road to the Rex centre, then back down the Alaska Highway and split off at Tim Hortons.
  • Kitimat: Vehicles will line up in front of the Civeo camp in Strawberry Meadows at 11 am. At 11:30 am, the motorcade with run through town and back to the lower parking lot at the City Centre Mall. There, three speakers will address the crowd.
