MEETUP: Come on out and make some new resource friends

Resource Works is kicking off 2015 with a new program that will bring our Community Conversation series to venues across British Columbia.

We are in need of local organizers to help with these events, which could be held at community centres, restaurants, and even at the homes of interested hosts.

With 2015 promising to be a year of keen attention to the issues of responsible resource use, it’s worth paying attention to anything that brings people together on common concerns.

We need local ambassadors who will start conversations and build interest in the issues.

Based on the known facts, a strong resource economy is the only way British Columbia can achieve a continuing high quality of life today and into the foreseeable future. At the same time, we all agree that our impact on the environment must be understood and managed properly by competent professionals.

Lots of other voices are on the local landscape – only by getting active can we be heard too!

Please drop us a line if you are interested in getting involved. Write to [email protected].
